Wendell Waves

The swim team committee hires coaches prior to the start of each summer season. Many of our coaches have been Wendell Waves swimmers for several years, or swim for year-round and high school teams.

The paid coaches are assisted by volunteer Junior Coaches.  If you would like to be a Wendell Waves Junior Coach, here are the job requirements: 

• You must be a member of the Wendell Waves Swim Team. 
• You must be 12 years old at the time of your application. 
• Schedules will be adjusted to meet individual needs, however, you are expected to be at all practices assigned to you. 
• Maintain a positive and encouraging attitude at all times.
